The 2013-14 yearbooks have arrived.  If you purchased one you can pick it up during your lunch period on Friday in the cafeteria. If you have a brother or sister that graduated last year you can pick that up as well.

 

Attention all baseball players in grades 8-12 not in a fall sport, conditioning and open fields will beginnext Tuesdayafter school.  Please report to the weight room and wait for Coach Laderach.  Please have both your baseball equipment and appropriate shoes for the weight room.  If you have any questions stop in to Coach Schimmoeller's room #608.

 

Pre sale tickets for Fridays home football game with Ottawa Glandorf are on sale in the office during your lunch period or after school.  All pre sale tickets are $5.00. All tickets at the gate are $6.00.

 

The boy's golf team defeated Margaretta and Danbury last night. Travis Focht-40 Jake St. Clair-43 & Ryan Pavlica-44 carded the Rocket's lowest scores

 

The 8th grade volleyball team beat Edison last night in two games 25-8, 25-14.  High scorers were Kaytlynn Sandwisch with 11 points and Peyton Bloomer with 10 points. The team is 4-0 and play at Huron on Tuesday. 

 

 

The Lady Rockets (JV and Varsity) fell to Edison this evening.  The JV lost 20-25 and 21-25.  The Varsity lost in 4 9-25, 19-25, 25-20, 19-25.  Jordyn Thorp and Rebekah Rayburn each had 6 kills and Ally Bloomer and Athena Eli contributed 5 kills a piece.  Athena Eli was 29 for 33 serve receiving while Faith Konieczny was 15 for 17.  Kasey Sundermeier had 9 assists.  The Rockets have the weekend off and take on Huron at homeon Tuesday; the JV start at5:00.

 

The Oak Harbor boys cross country team finished 4th out of 9 schoolsThursday at the Eastwood Flying Eagle Invitational.  Michael Berlin finished 11th in the small school division followed by Clay Winterfield in 12th, Ajay Riechman in 20th, Kobe Fletcher in 33rd, Max Puckett in 33rd, Elijah Karl in 46th, Logan Strausbaugh in 55th, Thomas Chovanec in 70th, and Christian Newman in 71st.

 

The boys varsity soccer beat Huron last night by a score of 8-0.  Kyle Draper had (4) Saves, Scoring Goals – Tyler Bowlick, Andy Burnette (3), Quintin DeWalt, Nate Poiry, Tim Poiry (2)Assists were made by Allen Luecke (2), Tyler Bowlick, Nick Damron, Nate Poiry, Tyler Sievert, James Walters all adding 1Player of the Game was Tyler Sievert

 

The JV boys soccer team also defeated Huron 2-1.Kyle Smith, Andy Buderer each had three saves,  Mark Bodi had 2 goals assisted by Jeremy McClanahan. Player of the Game – Zach Hess. Reminder that boys soccer practice is at3:15 pm today
