The Rocket Boys golf team defeated both Fremont Ross and Lakota last night. Scoring for the Rockets were Jack Gleckler, Kyle Tomor, Jordan Millinger and Collin Ish.
Last night the Rocket Tennis team played their best tennis of the year beating Edison 4-1. Winning at singles was Chloe Duquette and Addi Hasselbach. Doubles winners were Chelsea Heaps and Sarah Chovanec and Christine Arent and Emma Zibbel. Other winners were Ella Dedes and Tiffany Ozanski, Mya Lenke and Haley Hess, Teresa Roziak and Jaylee Rolhieser.
The Varsity girls soccer team defeated Wauseon last night 4-0. Scoring for the Rockets: Kenzie Huntebrinker scored, Kyleigh Pluto had the assist, Kennedee Weirich scored the second goal unassisted.Celia DeTray had 2 saves in the first half. Second half scoring: Abby Eoff with Kennedee Weirich on the assist, Seree Petersen finished the scoring with 8:54 left in the game. Ronni Hartlage had 10 saves in the second half.
The middle school girls cross country season started out with a 2nd place trophy at the Eastwood Eagle invite. Scoring for the Rockets were: Logan Wagner, Madi Adams, Ripley St. Clair, and Maggie Puckett.
The Rocket boys ended up 5th out of 11 teams. Scoring for the Rockets : Cam Bloomer, Elijah Ibarra, and John Aston. Next up for the Rockets is the Tiffin Carnival.
Congratulations to the 8th grade football team on beating Genoa 36-16. Jack Zeithzheim scord touchdowns on runs of 3 an d75. Ben Sage scored touchdowns on a 65 yard run and a 25 yard pass from Mason Wagner. Ben also scored twice on extra point runs. Mason Wagner passed for one touchdown and rushed 20 yards for another as well as running in an extra point.
The varsity volleyball team beat old fort last night 25-8, 25-20, 25-14. Kaytlynn Sandwisch lead the team with 35 assists. Leading in kills was Peyton Bloomer with 23, Abby Dornbusch with 9 and Ashley Riley with 8. Ashley lead with 16 digs, Abby with 13 and Olivia Rahm with 10. Jill Thorbahn had 13 points.
