There will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 am for boys in grades 9-12 planning on playing baseball this spring. The meeting should last around 15 minutes.
Attention Seniors: Next Monday, September 18, is the first day there will be a representative from a local college here at OHHS to answer any questions you may have. Ohio Northern, Owens Community College, The University of Toledo, BGSU and many more will stop by over the next 8 weeks. Each day, a different college rep will be present, please stop by the guidance office to see the calendar of who will be here and on which day. You must sign up in the Guidance Office to attend.
There will be class meeting’s on Tuesday, September 12th, Freshmen will be held during 2nd period in the Auditorium. Senior class will meet during 3rd & 4th periods and Juniors during 7th period.

The boys high school cross country team finished 34th out of 47 school despite missing a few key athletes. Marcus Hartlage finished in eighteen minutes followed by Clay Winterfield, Cameron Crandall, Chance Milledge, Max Hallett-Szymanski, Michael Berlin and Brady Walleman.
The Varsity girls soccer team lost to Genoa 3-1. Oak Harbor's only goal came with 19:13 left in the second half on a direct free kick by Chelsea Rathbun. Celia DeTray had 3 saves and allowed 2 goals. Ronni Hartlage had 6 saves and allowed 1 goal.
The ladies high school cross-country team competed in the 2nd largest Invite on this side of the Mississippi at Tiffin Carnival on Saturday. The lady Rockets had an impressive showing. They finished 7th out of 33 teams. Hope Sievert led the Rockets with a 4th place finish in a field of over 200 runners. Anna Zeitzheim was 34th. We had a carer pr from Emily Willis. Season pr's from Auna Tack, Gabby Sharkey, and Jessica Murphy.
The OHMS girls placed 14 out of 40 teams at the 2nd largest cross country meet in the country!! Scoring for the Rockets: Logan Wagner, Madi Adams, Ashley Schiller, Maggie Puckett, and Marisa Kennedy. The boys were 30 out of 41 teams; scoring for the Rockets: Cam Bloomer, Owen Miller, Danny Tack, Elijah Ibarra and Kayden Kralik. The Rockets compete at the Clay Repeat Meet tomorrow
The Boys Varsity Soccer team rallied with 2 goals in 44 seconds in the final minute to down Genoa 4 – 3 on Saturday. Nick Damron led the Rockets with 2 Assists and 2 Goals. Tristan Lacer also scored with Mason VanNess netting the winning goal with 7 seconds remaining in the contest. The boys travel to Port Clinton tonight.
