There will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 am for boys in grades 9-12 planning on playing baseball this spring.  The meeting will be in Mr. Lance’s room 500 and should last around 15 minutes. 



There will be class meeting’s today, Freshmen will be held during 2nd period in the Auditorium.  Senior class will meet during 3rd & 4th periods and Juniors during 7th period.




Attention Seniors:  Next Monday, September 18, is the first day there will be a representative from a local college here at OHHS to answer any questions you may have.   Ohio Northern, Owens Community College, The University of Toledo, BGSU and many more will stop by over the next 8 weeks.  Each day, a different college rep will be present, please stop by the guidance office to see the calendar of who will be here and on which day.   You must sign up in the Guidance Office to attend.

Mr. Robert Latta will be hosting an academy information night on Thursday, September 21st at the Findlay Campus of Owens Community College.  The event will begin at 7:00pm.  Any interested high school students and their parents are invited to attend.  An overview of the nomination process will be provided.  Representatives from the different academies will be present to talk about opportunities available.



Both the 8th grade Academic Challenge team and the High School Academic Challenge Teams will meet today and Thursday from 2:45-3:15 in Mrs. Mills' room # 603.  



Attention all swimmers not currently in a fall sport. Conditioning will begin Monday, September 18 from 4:30-6pm. Conditioning will be Monday through Friday until the start of mandatory practices. Contact Coach Sorg with any questions.



The Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Port Clinton last night 3- 0 behind a total team effort.  Goals were scored by Mason VanNess, Blake Hanthorn, and Aidan Barton off of two assists from Nick Damron.  A strong defensive effort by Kolton Hall, Jeremy McClanahan, Jon Robinson, and Brock Hanney preserved the third shutout of the season.



Both Rocket girls tennis doubles teams rallied from a set down to edge the Huron Tigers 3-2 last night. Addi Hasselbach won at singles and also doubles Christine Arent and Emma Zibbel. Chelsea Heaps and Sarah Chovanec survived a three and a half hour match to clinch it for the Rockets. Other winners were Bailey Blunt, Haley Hess, and Ella Dedes and Tiffany Ozanski.



The varsity girls soccer team defeated Port Clinton last night 9-0.  Scoring for the Lady Rockets were: Kennedee Weirich with an assist from Kenzie Huntebrinker, Trinity Varga assisted by Seree Petersen Elayna Krupp with an assist from Emma Martin and Erica Winters assisted by Kennedee Weirich.  Scoring unassisted goals were: Chelsea Rathbun, Emily Lenke,Elayna Krupp and Seree Petersen added 2.  Ronni Hartlage and Celia DeTray each had one save in goal.
