Reminder that 8th grade swimming started this week. Practice for everyone will be 4:30-6:00 at the pool.

 

 

Pre Sale tickets for Friday’s home football game with Shelby are on sale in the office during your lunch or after school.  All presale tickets are $5.00, all tickets at the gate are $6.00.

 

 

Students in grades 8-11:  If you have not picked up your pictures yet please pick them up today during your lunch or after school.  If you did not purchase pictures but still had them taken for the yearbook you will have an envelope to pick up with an opportunity to still order them.

 

 

We are looking forward to our fall Red Cross blood drive on October 31st. We have over 80 donors signed up. The Science club and the Art Club are also running a Halloween fundraiser to benefit the Red Cross hurricane relief!   Face painting or favorite hats are permitted on Halloween for those who donate at least $2 in advance to the hurricane relief fund.  The art club will even provide your face paintings before school on October 31st if needed. Sign up and donate by October 23rd with one of the following teachers. Mr. Painter, Mrs. Gilbert, Mrs. Swint, Mrs. Scott, Mr. Schlagheck or Mrs. Kreager.  Let's have a spooktacular Halloween!!

 

 

 

Seniors who have siblings- The due date for senior sib pictures is this Friday.  If you were unable to get your picture taken last Friday, make arrangements with Mrs. Gilbert sometime this week to do so.  

 

 

 

Art Club and Thespian members- our annual Halloween Costume Contest Party will be Thursday from 4:00-5:30 in the art room.  Bring a snack, dessert or candy to share.  Pizza will be provided.  

 

 

 

 

The Boys Varsity Soccer team won their first game of the State Tournament 1 – 0 vs Cory-Rawson High School.  Kolton Hall finished off a cross from Nick Damron for the score.  Andy Buderer made 4 saves on the night.

The Boys host Liberty-Benton Saturday night at 7 pm at the Rockets Soccer Complex in game 2 of the tournament.

 

 

The girls Varsity Soccer team defeated Rossford last night 6-0  in tournament play. 

Abby Eoff scored with 31:47 left in the first half, Chelsea Rathbun had the assist

Emily Lenke scored with 27:58, Kenzie Huntebrinker assisted

Kenzie Huntebrinker scored with 22:52 left, Kelsey Schling assisted

Kenzie Huntebrinker scored unassisted with 11:42 left in the first half

2nd half

Kenzie Huntebrinker scored with 37:48 left in the half, Emma Martin had the assist

Elayna scored with 9 seconds left in the game, unassisted.

Ronni Hartlage didn't have to make any saves.

The Lady Rockets will play Central Catholic on Saturday, 5:00 pm at the Oak Harbor Soccer Complex
