Time for a few friendly rule reminders:  After school dismissal:  Students should be out of the building by 3:10 each day.  No students should be in an unsupervised location during or after school. Students waiting for practice should be seated in the cafe with no horseplay until their practice begins.  If practice begins after 4 students should leave the building and return for practice.

 

 

Seniors, a reminder that community service hours should be logged and once completed may be turned into the front office at any time.  Please get this obligation out of the way as soon as possible.  For those seniors helping out with Halloween in the halls tonight, this will count as community service hours.  Extra sheets if you lost yours are found in the turnstile of the main office.

 

 

High School Academic Challenge Practice for Friday is cancelled. Please be at the High School Saturday morning by 5:45am to travel to the Ohio Academic Competition in Eastlake, Ohio.  Paperwork for the competition is due by 7:30 tonight if not turned in already. 

 

Don't forget to turn on WNWO Toledo 24 this Sunday at 11:00 to watch Oak Harbor High School's Academic Team take on Toledo Islamic High School.

 

 

Reminder to 8th grade track and cross country athletes who signed up for Halloween in the Halls: meet in Coach W's room right after school.

 

 

Art Club members- if you glazed your clay pumpkin at the halloween party, it is ready to be picked up in the art room.  

 

 

Face painting or favorite hats are permitted on Halloween for those who donate at least $2 in advance to the hurricane relief fund.   Sign up and donate with Mr. Painter, Mrs. Gilbert, Mrs. Swint, Mrs. Scott, Mr. Schlagheck or Mrs. Kreager by the end of today.

 

 

The 7th and 8th grade Halloween dance will be held today from 3:30-5:30 at the high school. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5. Feel free to wear costumes.

 

 

Join the Thespians for a night to make you laugh, cry and shiver.  Scared Silly will be presented November 3 and 4 at 7:30 and Sunday Nov. 5 at 2:00.  Tickets are $6.00 and are available at the door.

 

Tech and backstage crew, please report today at 3:00.

 

 

Any 8th grade girl trying out for 8th grade basketball, tryouts will begin next Wednesday November 1st  from 3-4:30  at the Middle School.

 

 

Girls basketball tryout days begin this Friday. The 2-days of tryouts are this Friday 4:30 6:00pm & Saturday10:00am-12:00noon. If you have any questions contact Coach Kontak or Jr. Varsity Coach Horn. Tryouts for any Varsity volleyball players are after tournament play is over...GO ROCKETS!!”
