Auditions for Footloose the Musical are going to be extended to as late as needed Wednesday. Please check the auditorium doors to sign up! If you are unable to sign up for one of the existing slots, or if you have any questions about the audition process, please find Ms. Tucker or Mr. Head.

 

 

 

Seniors--lifetouch photography will be at the high school to take free senior portraits for those students who did not have their senior picture taken at the Lifetouch Studio on Thursday, December 13th.  Please dress accordingly as this photo will appear in the senior section of the yearbook.  No hoodies.

 

 

 

Reminder to any Juniors/seniors to sign up for the Alumni Feedback event…

This will be an opportunity to gain insights on the freshmen college experience, insight on the current workforce from our very own alumni of the 2016 class! In addition, there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the panel of returning Oak Harbor Alumni. Please sign up in the Guidance Office…don’t forget lunch will be served…

 

 

 

Art Club Members-- we will be getting together after school in the art room this Wednesday to work on winter paintings.   We hope to see you there.

 

 

 

Congratulations to the following students for being selected for the District 2 OMEA Honor Band:

Daniel Bollin, Tenor Saxophone
Bailey LaFountain, Clarinet
Mo Natsheh, Basson
Ryleigh Piper, Horn
Teresa Rosiak, Trumpet
Emily Schiller, Horn

These students auditioned for this band and were selected from an audition pool of over 200 students from a 50-school area. Great job!

 

 

 

As of yesterday the total pantry collection tallies are as follows:

Mr. Schulte and the Freshmen - 341 points

Mr. Lance and the Juniors - 233 points

Mr. Yoder and the 8th grade - 204 points

Mr. Slagle and the Seniors - 55 points

Mr. May and the Sophomores - 9 points!!! 

We also have accepted multiple donations of cash for the pantry to purchase other needed items. 

We will complete a final count today after school, when boxes are collected from all classroom donation sites. 

The science club thanks all students and teachers for your help and donations. We have already collected a large variety of over 1200 needed non-perishables for the Pantry.
