As we head into exams, National Honor Society would like to wish everyone a very safe and happy holiday season. So many of us are looking forward to a break from school work, quality time with friends and family, and of course holiday food and gift exchanges.  When we return to school in January, NHS will be holding a clothing drive to benefit families in need in our community.  We ask that you keep this in mind as you add your new holiday gifts to your closet and wardrobe.  January 14 -18 we will happily accept your gently used clothing donations-  you know, the sweaters that are too snug, the pants that are too short, the winter jackets you’ve outgrown.  We are not making this a competition with a prize for those who donate the most items or a reward for being kind.   We are simply hoping that OHHS can continue its spirit of giving throughout the whole year, not just at Christmas.  So please, over this holiday, before you decide to throw those pants away because they are too tight because you ate too many sweet treats, NHS would like you to set those items aside and donate them in January.

Thanks much, good luck on your exams, and we will remind you of the clothing drive when we return to school in the new year.
