Don’t forget to enter in this year’s bale decorating contest sponsored by the FFA Chapter. There will be an entry fee of $20, this will buy only the spray paint needed to decorate, this can be given to Mr. Neiderhouse. A 3x7 square bale will be provided, if smaller square bales are needed please specify in the entry form. Days to decorate include October 16th and 17th, 3 pm – 6 pm. The bails will be displayed at the October 18th football game with Edison. The entry fee along with the design of the bail needs to be submitted to the main office by October 4th. Scan the QR Code on one of the flyers around the school to complete the entry form.

 

 

 

Students, stop out to the Homecoming bon fire tonight at 8 behind the middle school to show your school spirit! Go Rockets!

 

 

 

Student in grades 9-12 who will be attending the homecoming dance, if you are bringing a guest from another school you will need to pick up a guest form in the main office. All guest forms are due back in the office by 3:00 on Friday, September 27th.

 

 

 

Homecoming tickets will be on sale ALL week during lunch and after school for $5. If you wait until the day of the dance, they will be $8!

Pre Sale tickets for Fridays home football with Bowsher are on sale in the main office during lunches or after school. Pre sale tickets are $5.00. Tickets at the gate are $6.00.

 

 

 

The boys cross country team ran their best times of the season Tuesday at the Ottawa County meet in Oak Harbor.  Clay Winterfield finished 5th in 17:41 followed by Cameron Crandall in 6th in 17:50.  Camden Bloomer finished 10th in 18:34, Michael Berlin 20th in 19:39, Brady Walleman 22nd in 20:09, Kobe Fletcher 23rd in 20:44, Adam Tooman 28th in 21:08, Max Puckett 34th in 21:47, and John Aston 44th in 28:25.

 

 

 

In an exciting match at Port Clinton the Rocket Tennis Team rallied from down 2-1 to beat the Port Clinton Redskins 3-2. Hailey Shiets, Bailey LaFountain, and Ella Dedes all rallied from a set down to secure the win for the Rockets. Winning at singles was Hailey Shiets. Doubles winners were Christine Arent and Viv Kunkle, and Bailey LaFountain and Ella Dedes.

 Other winners were Jaylie Rollhieser, Colleen Warner, Tiffany Ozanski, Theresa Roziak, Carly Stevens, Hailey Frondorf, Katelyn Strouse, Emma Hand, and Jessa Bolander.

 

 

 

The ladies high school cross country team were runner-up last night at the Ottawa County Invite Meet. Leading the Rockets were Sam Tallman 8th, Ashley Schiller 9th, and Logan Wagner 10th. Best performance was from Jaclyn Croy with an impressive new personal record!
