The Oak Harbor Lady Rockets held on to win Saturday in the District final game against Toledo Central Catholic by a score of 3-2 in double overtime.
Hannah Schulte started the scoring with 28:34 left in the 1st half, Remi Gregory assisted
Central's Mya Patton scored with 28:44 left in the 2nd half to tie the game.
Hannah Schulte scored again with 6:37 left in the 2nd half, Elayna Krupp assisted
Central's Morgan Trave scored with 4:11 left in the 2nd half.
Neither team scored in the first Overtime
Haley Lenke scored the winning goal for the Rockets about 5 minutes into the second overtime.
Ripley St. Clair made 18 saves for the Rockets.
The Lady Rockets will play Celina Tuesday. 7:00 PM at Findlay High School.
Clay Winterfield and Cameron Crandall both competed Saturday at the Regional cross country meet in Tiffin with a chance to run at the State meet in Columbus. Clay finished in 54th in a personal record of 17:31 and Cameron finished 82nd in 18:40 on a course that was wet and torn up. Congrats on a great season boys!
