The 8th grade girls basketball team is finding their stride winning their 3rd straight game last night defeating Edison 46 to 22. Multiple players stepped up and shot well with Logan Harris leading the way with 16 points, Alaina Hetrick 10 points, Ronni Hartlage 10 points, Jill Thorbahn 8 points, and Celia DeTray 2 points. Great job lady rockets! 


The Ottawa County Rockets lost their game last night against Lucas County by a score of 35-21.  Jonas Hetrick led the way for the Rockets with 15 points.  Their next game will benext Monday at 6pm at Camp Perry against Crawford County.


Congratulations to the wrestling team on defeating Amhearst Steele and Fremont Ross last night.  Winning both of their matches were Dylan Mansor, Jeremy Balboa, Ben Peteren, Kian Thompson, Stephen Simkus, Dylan Thorp and Brandon Garber.  Winning one of their matches were Jacob Huston, Trevor Scherf, Jaret Parker, Brody Hennig, and Peyton Salyers.


Tickets for the winter dance this weekend can be purchased in the office during your lunches or after school.  Tickets are $5.00.  Tickets will also be available at the door.  If you are bringing a guest from another school for the 9-12 grade dance those forms need to be in the office by the end of the day tomorrow.


Just a reminder that Senior baby pictures for the yearbook are due byFebruary 6th.  Bring your picture, a short message and a $20 check made out to BCS.


Attention Seniors:  Any student who plans to pursue a degree in the field of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), should see Mrs. Closson for a scholarship opportunity.


Any JUNIOR girl, who wishes to attend Buckeye Girls State this summer at Mount Union College, please plan to meet with Mrs. Coffmantodayin the cafeteria, immediately following the announcements.


Attention musical cast, the next group rehearsal will be Tuesday at 6:00 on stage.


Students, buy a flower for that special someone at lunch between Feb. 2nd thru Feb. 6th.  The flowers are $2.00 each and will be delivered 8th period on Thursday Feb. 12th.
