Announcements for today:

Happy Birthday Wishes!

If you haven’t already done so, please be sure your child turns in all emergency medical forms and the paper regarding computer usage, and use of photographs.  Thank you! We are down to 6 students!

  • The OHMS girls placed 14 out of 40 teams at the 2nd largest cross country meet in the country!! Scoring for the Rockets: Logan Wagner, Madi Adams, Ashley Schiller, Maggie Puckett, and Marisa Kennedy.

The boys were 30 out of 41 teams; scoring for the Rockets: Cam Bloomer, Owen Miller, Danny Tack, Elijah Ibarra and Kayden Kralik. 

The Rockets compete at the Clay Repeat Meet tomorrow.

  • TNT after school programs will be starting today, September 11th.  Students who have signed up should have been notified by Ms. Brenda.
  • Congratulations to the Pee-Wee Football teams who were victorious over the Norwalk Truckers on Sunday.
  • The middle school will once again be having student council elections.   The elections will be held on Friday September 22nd during intervention or challenge classes.  2 boys and 2 girls from 6th and 7th grades and 1 boy and 1 girl from 4th and 5th grades will be elected.  Campaign posters may be hung in the hallways starting Monday September 18th.  (Bring your own tape to hang signs)!  There are nomination forms in the office to be completed if you are interested.  They are due back by Friday, September 15th and should be given to either Mr. O’Neill or Mrs. Sugalski.  Best of luck to all candidates!
  • Just FYI-starting in October, Marco‘s Pizza Night for the middle school will be held the second Tuesday, every other month.  More announcements will be made as time draws near.
  • OHHS Fall Mini Cheer Clinic for 4th graders will be held on Saturday, 9/23 from 9-11 a.m. at the high school auxiliary gym.  Forms available in the office.
  • 2nd Annual Color Run will be held at the high school on September 29th at approximately 3:30.  More information to come….

OHMS Sporting Events:

Cross Country: Tuesday, September 12th Clay Mile Repeat at Pearson Park beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Volleyball:  Tuesday, September 12th against Margaretta at home beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Football:  7th grade team will have their next game on September 21st at home against Clyde beginning at 4:30 p.m.

38th Annual Oak Harbor Apple Festival Run (5K Run/Walk)-Sunday, October 15th.  If students and/or parents are interested, there are forms in the office.
