TNT After School Program today is First Aid Class from 3:15-4:15 p.m.

There will be a student council meeting on Wed., 10/14 at 7:10 a.m.  in room 102.

Box Top & Campbell’s Labels collection going on at the middle school next week:  October 19-23rd.  This is being hosted by the Rocket Family Group.   They are calling it a giant trading event where students get tickets equal to the amount of box tops turned in.  there are raffle prizes included such as a private pool party at the high school, being principal for ½ day, a giant candy basket, extra recess for the entire grade, Miller Ferry passes to P-I-B, ¼ page candid or posed photo in the 15-16 OHMS yearbook, VIP Lunch experience for a student and 3 friends, a giant art basket, OHHS pool passes and goggles for 4 people, Lake Erie Fearfest ticket package (located in Sandusky).  So, bring in those box tops!  Additional tickets can be purchased as well.  10 tickets for $1.00, Mr. Spurlock’s wingspan $5.00, Distance from Balcony to Florrin in Gymnasium $10.00, and Length of BCS school bus $20.00.

Sports News:  This past Thursday, the girls cross country team brought home a 1st place trophy.  Scoring for the Rockets:  Hailey Schiets, Emma Zibbel, and Kiara Brough.  The boys placed 3rd.  Scoring for the Rockets:  Levi Jacobs was one of the top 10, along with Max Hallett-Szymanski who scored for the Rockets.

On Saturday, the 7th grade Lady Rockets finished 6th out of 21 teams at the Fostoria Invite.  Scoring for the Rockets:  Hailey Schiets, Emma Zibbel, and Kiara Brough.  The boys were 5th out of 27 teams.  Scoring for the Rockets were Levi Jacobs and Max Hallett-Szymanski.  The Rockets look to bring home an SBC Championship this Saturday!  Good Luck, athletes!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Football team on your victory over Vermilion with a score of 52-0.  It was an outstanding TEAM effort on offense and defense.  The Rockets scored 7 touchdowns, 5 extra points, an interception for a touchdown, a fumble recovery, and held their opponent to just 2 first downs.  Great job!  They will take on Perkins this Thursday at home beginning at 4:30 p.m.
