Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Thursday, September 4, 2014

I hope everyone enjoyed their unexpected day off from school yesterday!

Today is yellow day in our celebration of colors with the kindergarten classes.  Yellow is a color that is easily visible, this is why it is commonly used to show caution, for example, on a set of traffic lights, yellow divides the red light and green light, meaning drivers can go, but have to be cautious.  For our soccer friends, yellow cards are shown by a referee to indicate that a player has been officially cautioned because they have committed a foul or have wasted time.  Finally, yellow is the color of courage and courage is a great thing to have!  Happy yellow day friends!  Tomorrow is not only Rocket wear spirit day but it is also green day!  YAY! Go rockets and go green!

For those who want to go to the mini-cheerleading clinic at the high school please make sure you get those forms in today!

Remember students to show your parents the spirit sticks flier that went home with you on Tuesday.  There are some fun designs on there!
