Good morning R.C. Waters!
Today is Friday, May 5, 2017
Thank you again to our TIE club for their wonderful gifts and recognition of Staff Appreciation Week! We also want to thank the Board of Education for bringing breakfast in for all staff members. Thank you so much!
Keep working hard to earn those DOJO raffle tickets! You can choose whatever bucket you would like to try to earn that prize. We are proud of you RCW!
Today’s lunch has changed and will be Bosco sticks instead of French bread pizza.
Here’s your PBIS reminder for this Friday…being respectful in Acorn Alley is very important. Keep your hands, feet and personal objects to yourself. Listen to the speaker and follow their directions quickly. Use an appropriate voice level as in a level 0 during homework time, a 1 in the hallway and a ¾ during playground time. Always be kind to others, respect school property and make sure to have only school appropriate conversations.
Looking forward to next week...our 3rd grade friends will enjoy their swim reward day on Monday and then the first round of 3rd grade swimming lessons begins after school. What a great day for swimming! We will also begin our May Data Teams meetings on Monday with 1st and 2nd grades. On Tuesday data teams continue with kindergarten and 3rd grade. We will also have our owl presentations that day and a TIE meeting that night at 6:00 pm. Wednesday is Move Up Day and it’s Nurse Appreciation Day! Thursday is the first grade field trip day - how fun! Finally, on Friday our 3rd graders will enjoy their field trip. What a great week we have ahead of us!
Be Respectful and do something amazing!
Now I will ask you to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance with today’s leader. After we finish with the Pledge, our leader will lead us in singing the Fight Song! GO ROCKETS!
