Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Thursday, October 19, 2017

Here’s to October - “International Drum Month!”

The high school Spanish students will be returning today to help our kindergarten friends learn how to count in spanish.  Gracias a los estudiantes!

The wheels on the “School Bus Safety Week” bus are rolling right along.  Here are today’s safety tips.  While riding the bus:

  • Keep aisles clear of books and bags

  • Get your belongings together before reaching your stop

  • Wait for the bus to stop completely before getting up from your seat

R.C. Cagetakers:

The Fremont Rec Center has two really “cool” programs coming up on the ice.  For those beginner ice skaters there is a “Learn to Skate” class and for those interested in ice hockey there is a “Future Stars Hockey” program.  We have fliers in the office if you are interested.

Here’s an idea of kindness for your Thursday… showing compassion is an example of kindness.  Should someone be rude or inconsiderate to you, keep in mind that they might be having a bad day or need to hear a kind word.  Look past the negative and offer them a second chance.  Be compassionate by showing concern for others.

As we begin another beautiful day here at RCW, I will remind you to always be:

  • Ready

  • Responsible

  • Respectful

Now I will ask you to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance with today’s leader.
