Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Happy “America Recycles Day!”  Do you have a recycling plan at your house?  Today is the day to make one!

3rd grade boys basketball camp forms are due this Friday, November 17.  If you need another form please let the office know.

The Literacy Committee will meet at 3:15 today.

As we enter the 3rd day of our annual food drive I thought I would explain to you what happens to the food that we are donating.  At the end of the week the Ottawa County Holiday Bureau will pick up our donations to take to their food bank.  A food bank is a non-profit organization that collects and distributes food to those who need it. Thank you to the Holiday Bureau for their help with those who need it in Ottawa County.

Here’s an idea of kindness for your Wednesday…donate your long hair to an organization that makes wigs out of real hair to give to those who have lost theirs’ due to illness.  What a wonderful gift you can give!

As we begin another beautiful day here at RCW, I will remind you to always be:

  • Ready

  • Responsible

  • Respectful

And now please stand tall and proud, with your right hand over your heart, and say the Pledge of Allegiance with our announcements leader.
