Good morning R.C. Waters!
Today is Friday, November 17, 2017
Today is “World Peace Day.” A very wise man named Bishop Desmond Tutu once said “Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
Today is a Rocket Pride Friday. Ii want to talk about the great amount of pride that we feel for our 3rd grade team and students as they continue their monthly community service projects. You are making a great difference in many lives. Today the 3rd graders will meet with a representative from the Senior Resources program and learn all about the help that they give to others. Keep up the good work 3rd graders and team - your Rocket Pride is strong and you are AMAZING! GO ROCKETS!
Way to go RCW! You have made an INCREDIBLE difference in our community! Your donations to our food drive will help so many people! Please take a moment at some point today to look at the huge amount of items that we have brought in for this week. You are AMAZING!
3rd grade boys who want to participate in the basketball camp - your registration forms are due today.
Looking forward to next week.... We will not have tutoring at all on Monday or Tuesday. We do not have school Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Here’s your kindness idea for the day…use less plastic or none at all because it’s kind to the environment.
As we begin another beautiful day here at RCW, I will remind you to always be:
Now I will ask you to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance with today’s leader. After we finish with the Pledge, he will lead us in singing the Fight Song! GO ROCKETS!
