Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Monday, January 22, 2018

Today is the first day of “The Great Kindness Challenge.”  Today you will receive a paper that lists the challenges you can do.  Take a good look at the list and choose at least 10 to complete.  You can do more than 10 - maybe some of you will do every one!  Mark on the list those that you finish and then bring it to school by Friday.   Take the time to be kind RCW!

Here’s a kindness quote to help encourage you throughout today:

“Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”

Here is our lineup for this week’s morning announcement leaders:

Thanks for volunteering!

Today’s R.C. Cage Caretakers

*A reminder to 3rd graders that once you are signed up for R.C. Cagetakers, you do not have to sign up again.  The list is long of those who want to help, which is WONDERFUL, so moving through the schedule takes some time.  I promise that we will make it back around to you!

PBIS Expectation of the Week: Use appropriate voice levels throughout the building”

For example, in the hallways we should use a level 0 voice.  This is important to remember when we are standing in line after a restroom break, walking to a special or helping someone find the clinic. Always use a level 0 voice in the hallway.

**ATTENTION - ATTENTION!!  We have a PBIS Challenge of the Week!  If we get 5 referral free days there will be a SURPRISE for the ENTIRE SCHOOL next Monday morning!  We can do this RCW!!

The registration forms for Rocket Little League baseball and the Oak Harbor Soccer League have been sent out.  Have a ball and play some ball!

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join me in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”
