TUESDAY

Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Today is Day # 2 in “The Great Kindness Challenge” week. Here are the challenges that I completed yesterday:  smile at 25 people, help a younger student and say good morning to 15 people.  In what ways did you show kindness?  Complete your challenges paper and bring it in by Friday.

Here’s a kindness quote to help encourage you throughout today:

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

Birthdays

Today Mrs. Beard’s super heroes have united an earned a pajama day for their super behvaior!  Way to go Mrs. Beard’s class!  You are AMAZING!

R.C. Cagetakers:

PBIS Expectation of the Week:  Use appropriate voice levels throughout the building”

Being respectful in the classroom and using an appropriate voice level means is done by raising your hand to talk.  Shouting out the answer to a question or interrupting someone who is speaking is not the right choice.  Let’s remember to raise our hands if we want to say something in the classroom.

It’s time for some “The World According to Humphrey” trivia!

Yesterday’s question was:

And the answer is:

Congratulations to the winning class:

Please send your class messenger to the office to pick up your prize!

Today’s trivia question is:

Please send in one answer for the entire class on the special trivia contest form.

Congratulations to today’s Oak Harbor Library raffle prize winner:

Today the recycling program will visit the classrooms of Miss Schlett, Mrs. Byington and Mrs. Gillespie.

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”
