R.C. Cage Caretakers:

Today is a Rocket Pride Friday.  Rocket Pride is often quiet and doesn’t ask for lots of notice.  Teamwork, good manners, thinking of others, sharing a smile...these are all examples of Rocket Pride.  These are easy ways to help others and show that we care all the while being the best person we can be.  GO ROCKETS!

PBIS Expectation of the Week:   Be prepared for class”

I have shared with you several different ways to be prepared for class based on our PBIS program.  Being on time for class, having your supplies ready, eating breakfast each morning and having your homework done are all very important.  Let’s work hard to be prepared for class each and every day.

As many of you know I love a good dance party and I am so excited that our big day is here!  See you on the dance floor!

Our first grade friends will have Dina School today!  That sounds fun!

Dr. Parmigian and Mr. Keeton will meet this afternoon with our third grade friends to discuss budgets.  Enjoy this time 3rd graders!

The Girls on the Run Program will begin Monday February 5th.  If you are a 3rd grade girl and would like to participate in this amazing afterschool program, please get a form from the office. There are only 15 spots available. Practices will be held on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30-4:30 at the middle school. The final 5k race will be held at the University of Toledo on Saturday May 12th. Running is not required to complete this 5k-you can run, skip, walk or hop your way to the finish line. Come and see why Girls On The Run is SO MUCH FUN!

Coming up this Sunday is a Sunday Fun Open Swim.  The swimming pool and racquet ball courts at the High School will be open on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm.  Students must bring an adult with them.  Come out and have some fun!

Looking forward to next week....Monday is our 100th day of school!  What an accomplishment!  Another exciting thing about Monday is that we will begin our day with an assembly about the upcoming Challenger Learning Center activities.  On Tuesday there is a TIE meeting at 6:00 pm.  On Thursday Mrs. Mussell’s class will enjoy a Learn with Me Day and then on Friday we will end our week with a TIE Movie Night!  What a great week we have ahead of us!

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader, in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble”
