Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Friday, March 2, 2018

It’s been a fun Dr. Seuss Week but today is the end.  Did you know the fun can continue?  That’s right my friend.  Keep on reading, never stop, try “Hop on Pop” and “Green Eggs and Ham” is great for going straight to the top.  “Oh the Places You’ll Go” tells a wonderful tale and “The Lorax” is a fun one to read with a whale.  Read to a whale?  Do you think I have lost my mind?!  No, no my friends it’s just my imagination enjoying Seuss time.  “Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?” is a good one and “Horton Hears a Who” makes reading never want to be done.  Keep it up - keep it going and never stop.  Read a book, read a paper, read to the tip-tap-top!  Happy Dr. Seuss Week RCW!

R.C. Cage Caretakers:

Today is a Rocket Pride Friday.  Rocket Pride is about fun and learning at the same time, even when we don’t realize it.  Dr. Seuss Night is a great example of this.  It’s always fun to read Dr. Seuss books but it’s even more fun to meet his characters, make a wocket and play a little book bingo.  Bringing fun to learning is what our school is very good at and is an AMAZING part of our Rocket Pride!  GO ROCKETS!

Looking forward to next week...Coming up this Sunday is a Sunday Fun Open Swim.  The swimming pool and racquet ball courts at the High School will be open on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm.  Students must bring an adult with them.  Come out and have some fun!  All next week is School Social Workers Week and National School Breakfast Week.  Let’s celebrate our very own Mrs. Jefferson and the delicious breakfasts brought to us by our cafeteria staff in a big way!  Tuesday evening at 6:00 is a T.I.E. meeting.  On Thursday Mrs. Lutz will have a “Learn With Me” Day in her room.  What a great week we have to look forward to!

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader, in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble”
