TUESDAY

Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Tuesday, August 28, 2018

Today we begin our celebration of colors.  Today is Red Day! Red is on one of our school districts colors.  The word red means “beautiful” in Latin. There are 23 different shades of red crayons.  Just 2% of the world's population has red hair so that is around 140 million people. Red heads unite!  Happy Red Day! Tomorrow is Orange Day!

Members of our TIE group will be here today popping into classrooms to get t-shirt sizes for some students.  Thank you TIE for all that you do for us!

The PBIS Assembly has been rescheduled for Friday at 2:00 pm.  This assembly and our TIE Fundraiser kickoff assembly will be held back-to-back.

Our 1st grade parents have a meeting tonight at 6:00 pm.

R.C. Cagetakers:

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”
