Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Friday, February 6, 2015

Hey, it’s Rocket Spirit Day!  GOOOO ROCKETS!!

Today is Rocket Pride FridayThe school system built a new elementary school in 1957 and then became R.C. Waters Elementary School.  Several churches added on to their buildings.  St. Boniface opened a school for grades one and two in September and Bassett's IGA, which is now community markets moved into new larger structures. A new modern high school was opened on the west side of town in time for the 1975-1976 school year. In 1989 there were 2,678 citizens living in Oak Harbor.  I can see the 1990’s ahead in our Rocket Pride Fridays!

Coming up on Sunday is another Sunday Fun Swim at the High School from 2:00-4:00 pm.  Grab your suit and towel and head on over!

Looking forward to next week... there is a TIE meeting on Tuesday at 6:00, our classroom Valentine Day parties will be held on Wednesday, parent-teacher conferences are after-school on Thursday and then again all day Friday so students will not have class next Friday!

Make the day & your weekend great R.C. Waters!!
