Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Friday, November 13, 2015

Today is Rocket Pride Friday and today is also World Kindness Day.  A very important part of Rocket Pride is being kind to others.  We want our students and staff to treat others and they would want to be treated and that is to treat them kindly.  Consider others feelings when we are making decisions or doing something that could affect someone.  Rocket pride and kindness truly go hand in hand.

Today we will have a presentation by Officer Phil.  Please remember the 3 R’s of  PBIS .. let’s all be ready to listen, be responsible to remember what we learn and be respectful to our guests.  Make us proud RCW!

Looking forward to next week…The Book Fair will remain open through next week.  Starting on Monday, November 16 and running through November 29, R.C. Waters students and staff are welcome to participate in the Ottawa County Holiday Bureau Food Drive. We can bring in nonperishable (that means not refridgerated or frozen) items like canned foods, soaps, shampoos and other things you enjoy at Christmas time as well. There will be a Building Leadership Team meeting on Tuesday after school. Tuesday is also Young Readers Day.  Thursday afternoon we have another round of conferences and then Friday the book fair will be closing.

Congratulations and good luck to the members of the U10 girls soccer team who will be playing in Cincinnati this weekend at the state tournament!
