Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Monday, November 16, 2015

“Make ya think Monday”... November is National Epilepsy Month. Epilepsy is a another word for seizures. Sometimes epilepsy is called a seizure disorder.  Many children and adults have seizures.  These take place when the cells in the brain send out more electricity than is needed for the body.  This creates a mixed up message and the body reacts differently.  Someone who is having a seizure may experience shaking, they may stare off into space or they may fall asleep. Seizures can last a few seconds to a few minutes - they best thing to do is to remain calm and be helpful.  Being a helpful friend to someone who has seizures is the best kind of friend to be.
