THURSDAY

Good morning R.C. Waters!

Today is Thursday, October 4, 2018

October is “Adopt a Shelter Dog” Month.  My little buddy Gilligan was adopted by our family 7 years ago.  We are very grateful for him!

Today our DOJO students of the month are enjoying breakfast with Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Lipstraw!  Congratulations to you!

It’s Color Day!  As you walk through the halls and pass other classrooms, pay attention to the awesome display of colors and spirit that we have here at RCW!  Way to go! Tomorrow is Spirit Day!  Let’s bring out all of our red, green & white RCW!

Today our 3rd grade friends will be visited by the Mayor of Oak Harbor.  We look forward to welcoming him to our school.

3rd grade friends, if you are packing a lunch for tomorrow’s field trip please remember to bring it with you in the morning!

BIRTHDAYS

R.C. Cage Caretakers:

At this time I have a very important message to share.  We have a very unfortunate problem here at RCW. Some of our students are not making good choices while in the restroom.  It is not appropriate to wipe anything on the bathroom stall doors or the walls of the bathroom. It is disrespectful to our custodians to do that because then they will have to clean it up.  This choice is also spreading germs and not healthy. Please do not wipe anything on the bathroom stalls or walls. Remember, there are cameras throughout the hallways.

Now I will ask everyone to please stand tall and proud, place your right hand over your heart and join our announcements leader in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  After we are finished with the Pledge we will get ready for our day with the “Rocket Rumble.”

Let's have an INCREDIBLE day RCW!
