The Varsity girls soccer team lost to Elyria Catholic of Saturday 4-0.  Ivy Martin had 4 saves.

 

The JV Girls' Soccer Team came away with a tie against Elyria Catholic's JV teamon Saturday.
Abbie Mizelle scored 2 goals and Alannah Pond also scored for the Rockets. Chloe Daniel and Carolyn Aston each had an assist.

 

The jv boys soccer team defeated ClaySaturday by a score of 6-1. Scoring for the rockets were Jeremy Mcclanahan with 3, Kameron Keegan, Lucas Greggila and Andy Buderer each had 1. Adding assists were Gage Wilkins and Luke Geisler. Kyle smith had 5 saves in goal. With the win the rockets improve to 9-2-2 on the year.

 

The 8th grade volleyball team beat Huron on Thursday last week in two games 25-23, 25-20.  Leading in serving were Kaytlynn Sandwisch with 9 points and Alaina Hetrick with 7 points. On Saturday the team beat Cardinal Stritch in two games 25-9, 25-17.  Kaytlynn Sandwisch led the scoring with 7 points and both Peyton Bloomer and Alaina Hetrick with 6 points.  The team improves their record to 14-1.

 

The ladies cross-country team placed in the middle of the pack in team standings at the Clay Invite Meet over the weekend. Three lady Rockets came home with individual awards: MaKayla Wagner, Karissa Garza, and Taylor Dunn.

 

The high school boys' cross country team placed fourth out of fifteen teams this past Saturday at Pearson Park.  Tyler Sievert led the Rockets followed by Konnor Fletcher, Tim Poiry, Kameron Keegan, Nate Purk, Mark Bodi, Zach Olson, Trevor Sievert, and Derek Rodehauser.

 

The middle school boys placed seventeenth out of twenty-one school.  Clay Winterfield led the rockets followed by Michael Berlin, Ajay Riechman, Kobe Fletcher, Max Puckett, Logan Strausbaugh, Thomas Chovanec, and Christian Newman.

 

Show your school spirit this week for homecoming spirit week by dressing with the themes! Today is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Favorite sports team day, Wednesday is Neon day, Thursday is Twins/Twinkie day, and Friday is Rocket red and green day!  Remember that school dress code still applies!

 

The Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 4th from 8-11pm. Tickets are 5 dollars at the door! Hope to see you there!
