What is an LPDC?
LPDC stands for Local Professional Development Committee. The primary job of the LPDC is to ensure that educators in our district are setting goals for their professional development, which should align with expectations and standards for our students, schools, and staff. A very important function of the LPDC is to review professional development plans, coursework, and other educational activities that will help each certified staff member meet their personal goals and the requirements necessary to renew a professional certificate or license.
